Eva Fisher is a French-Argentinian photographer, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1971. She attended the Sorbonne University, Paris, France, where she received a PhD in epistemology of economics in 1998.
In 2000, after studying photographic conservation at the Foto Club Buenos Aires, Argentina, and majoring in advertising photography under the photographer Ricardo Sanguinetti, she switched careers to dedicate herself to photography. There she also studied photographic expression with Guillermo Ueno, Ananke Asseff and Juan Travnik, as well as photography clinics with Malena Pizzani, Ariel Authier and Gabriel Valansi.
In 2005, she worked as a stringer photographer for La Nación and Clarín’s online newspaper. In 2009, she joined the German Press Agency, dpa, for which she worked until December 2012, as editor-in-chief of Photography for Latin America.
Since 2013, she has worked as a freelance photographer in Buenos Aires.
Her photographs have been published in numerous catalogues, magazines and newspapers, both in Argentina and abroad.
